I spilled solvent on part of my coffee table top and ruined the finish. Although the table is not an expensive piece, it is fairly unique and is no longer made. I contacted AFS, which responded promptly and in a professional manner. Ray H. was sent to evaluate the table, and from the start he was friendly and 100% reliable. He took the table top and a drawer from a matching piece of furniture to make sure that he had a reference for matching the finish, clearly taking pride in his work. The table top was delivered on time and came out beautifully. I highly recommend AFS and Ray H!

I would highly recommend Furniture Services to anyone. We had 2 office chairs that needed repair. We called several companies, including the company that manufactured the chair but no one could help. We were told we were better off buying new ones since they were old models. I called All Furniture Services, explained to them how important it was for us to keep the chairs, they understood, they listened. They sent us Arko, whom I now call the "miracle worker". He found the broken part, office ordered it overseas, kept me updated, replaced the part and now, after so many years, it feels like we have 2 brand new chairs. Several years ago, one of the post from my bed was broken. My husband and I were advised by several different people that the bed could not be fixed. I really loved my bed and was determined to find someone that could fix it. My husband told me that I needed to face the facts and accept that it could not be fixed. I would become completely discusted every time I walked in my bedroom and saw the broken post. It looked so horrible!! Finally, I Furniture Services online. I did not know anyone that used them, but somehow I knew that they could fix my bed. The gentlemen arrived when they said they would and worked really quickly. My bed was fixed within an hour! When my 1 1/2 year old scribbled with a permanent marker all over my brand new leather sofa, I was certain that the damage was beyond repair. My husband and I purchased about 5 different cleaning products, all promising to remove such stains from leather, but none of them was even slightly effective. As a last ditch effort, before resigning myself to the fact that the sofa would forever carry these marks, I decided to give furniture services a call. An appointment for an estimate was set up for the very next day. Alex, the furniture repair technician, arrived right on schedule. He assessed the damage, thoroughly explained my options, and quoted me a very reasonable price for the work. Within 20 minutes, my sofa looked brand new. He managed to dye the stain using a color that was an exact match to the brown of my sofa. The stains were completely gone and the sofa looked as good as new. The results were even better than I could have ever hoped for. I'm so glad that I gave Furniture Services a call. I would highly recommend them for their courteous, prompt, and professional service.

We arranged a date for the piece to be delivered and installed and the service person arrived well within the window of time specified. The first thing he did after stepping into my foyer was to slip disposable covers over his shoes. It's amazing how reassuring such a small detail can be, but it told me instantly that he was a professional and would treat my home with care and respect. Again, he was courteous and pleasant, answered my questions and proceeded with the installation. As I had, at one point, considered ordering the replacement part and doing the installation myself, I couldn't help noticing the process was more involved and required a level of expertise and precision way beyond my ability. When the work was finished the room was neat and tidy, without a trace of debris, and I was very glad I hadn't attempted to do the repair myself. From start to finish the process went so smoothly I wished I hadn't put it off for so long! The end result was very satisfactory, and it was a pleasure doing business with the company.

I recently purchased a gem of a sofa an antique to be precise. Turns it out that it would not fit up my staircase. They saved the day. They were on time and worked diligently on disassembly/assemlby of the sofa for 7 hours. It is a complicated 3 piece tufted sectional with a curved piece to boot. Tech Personnel paid extreme attention to detail and took pride in his work. On top of it all the price was reasonable. Man I spoke on the phone is a man of his word, he guarantees flawless work and delivered. I hope he doesn't retire any time soon because I plan to call him back when I am ready to move!!!!!

I got a couch which was delivered to me on Saturday morning. The movers could not get the couch through my apartment door (later I learned not an uncommon NY city situation). A moving company failed to measure the width of the door of my new apartment. As a result, my sofa which is 39.5 inches wide would not pass through the door which is 32 inches wide. All Furniture Services was hired to disassemble and reassemble my sofa. A two man team, lead by Omar Hylton was dispatched to my apartment in New Jersey. The moving company redelivered the sofa. The two man team from the moving company was told to disappear once the sofa was taken from their truck and placed on the street. Omar and his partner did an excellent job in disassembling my sofa, carrying it up to my new apartment in three sections and later reassembling the sofa in my living room. Omar Hylton and his partner deserves an award for excellence.
